Ward Island 12: Exhibit Brochure

2015 Texas A&M–Corpus Christi Department of Art Faculty Exhibit

The purpose of the design was to showcase that the professors’ talents are both in teaching and the creation of work. Above each introductory paragraph is a black and white photo of the professor teaching; their artwork, displayed in color, appears on the opposite page.

The organization of the brochure dispels any favoritism to a particular faculty member by placing the them in the order in which they arrived at the school. In the finished piece, they are viewed by seniority; a quantifiable method of placement.

Lastly, the size of the brochure was chosen to maximize the number of spreads that could be printed on a single press sheet thus lowering the overall production cost.
