Pasaquan is the home to the late visionary artist Eddy Owens (St. Eom). The compound is anything but conservative with bright colors, sexual imagery, and other various forms of artistic interpretations. The challenge became simplifying the experience of Pasaquan into can artwork that needed to present both the brewery and Pasaquan.

A primary image found at Pasaquan is the mandolin. It is seen all over the compound in various forms and has become part of the visual identity of Pasaquan. Combining this symbol with the Omaha’s shield and replacing the Gator with an image of St. Eom himself, the artwork began to take shape. The bright colors found at Pasaquan were integrated into the mandolin and set on a bright blue background which offered much needed contrast. An architectural site plan of the compound is added to the blue field to add texture. Standard elements as required by Omaha’s brand are further integrated into the artwork.
